As part of our ‘share the love - share the load’ initiative, we wanted to provide an opportunity to showcase some of our beloved fellow creatives and their individual styling flairs.

This week we gave Stacey from KIND.SIR complete access to our warehouse inventory and asked her to create 3 looks - a table setting, a lounge setting and a cocktail setting.

1. What was your inspiration for this look?

A few weeks back, I foraged a giant piece of driftwood that had washed up at the Manly foreshore. I brought it home, gave it a little brush down and it’s become a beautiful statement piece in our home. I used this treasured piece as the inspiration starting point and centrepiece for the Muted Ritual Collection dining setting. Using the colour palette of the wood and neutral, natural elements drawn from the Avideas inventory, we created a relaxed, coastal look intended to encourage love, conversation and togetherness.

2. What are your favourite pieces in this collection?

Dining Settings Favourites - The simplicity and texture of the marble plates and pearl chargers, the coral feature pieces and I’m in love with the ethereal feel of muslin to bring a sense of “undoneness” and asymmetry to the table.

Lounge/Cocktail Setting - Fluffy cushions so guests can linger longer, rattan bar for casual conversation with closest vicinity to beverages and the stunning gold leaf candle votives.

What are some tips for incorporating personalised items/gifts INTO a styled look?

We have many opportunities in life to help make people feel loved and hosting them as our guest is one very simple way. From having the table set, the candles lit and the playlist on when they arrive, to placing a personalised gift at each place; these are seemingly small acts that have a big and lasting impact.

We chose personalised Roman Tags with woven bolo cord to accompany this collection as the blush leather compliments the neutral palette and the curve of the tag design adds interest to the robust lines of our dining table.

4. How do you see this being used for an event?

This look evokes a calm, relaxed atmosphere where guests are invited to slow down and enjoy the simplicity of a rich, long conversation. Mutual Ritual lends itself to events where an understated neutral and natural palette is preferred. We imagine this look being used for an intimate gathering of 10-20 or a wedding celebration of 100+. I can imagine this gathering set by the ocean, in a forest or simply in a host’s garden with the muslin moving gently as it catches the breeze.
